ORGANIC VINEYARDS

A viticulture of respect, a winery committed to the environment

The idea of a vineyard cultivation integrated into its natural environment, in harmony with the physical elements, with the organic environment and with the cosmos. The recovery and revaluation of an environmental balance inherited from the wine-growing history of the Penedès. The forward look we apply to the field, to the elaboration and to all the actions of the winery in order to develop an integrated and respectful agriculture.

All this is summed up in a long-term vocation: to be a winery and a brand always a leader in the fundamental field of organic viticulture. A commitment that began from the beginning of the project, with the vision of converting all the old vineyards to organic cultivation. At the same time, with the aim of following the practices of organic viticulture in all the new vineyard plantations that have been carried out since 2010.

The aim of achieving a perfect coexistence between nature and human work in the vineyard space is to obtain wines and cavas of the maximum purity and expression.

Since 2016, all the bottles we produce at U MES U carry the sustainable production seal.

The elaboration of wines and cavas reflects the impulse of our organic viticulture.

The environmental commitment was extended two years later, when we decided to start making natural wines experimentally, with very positive results.

This orientation towards balance, protecting the environment and achieving maximum transparency and purity in wines is a vision that is not limited to vineyards and production. It goes further: it covers all the actions of the winery in the field of company management and the relationship with our context. Social commitment is part of the same vocation for integrated and respectful viticulture.
